Formed in 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio, indie dance-rock quartet Walk The Moon independently released their first album of knotty, synth-driven anthems in 2010, and reissued many of its songs on their self-titled major-label debut in 2012. Follow-up Talking Is Hard sees them refining their buzzing, bouncing sound and ruefully optimistic choruses.
