That's My Shit
Label: Capitol Records (CAP)
In career terms, Crown is a modest comeback after the poorly received (and somewhat underrated) IV Play, thanks to the radio hit "That's My Sh*t," which reunites him with "Make Up Bag" collaborator T.I. Musically, it finds him on cruise control, whether doing his Michael Jackson impression on "All I Need" or sounding unusually sincere and romantic on the ballad "Fruition." Still, a new Dream release -- this one's a teaser to Crown Jewel -- is always welcome, even if the tedious big baller rap "Cedes Benz" tests that theory.
