The Doors' sophomore effort was actually considered a letdown coming on the heels of their superb debut, but time has been kind to this album. Future FM rock and AM oldies classics "People Are Strange" and "Love Me Two Times" (which only went to 25 in the charts!) join "When the Music's Over" (a bloated "The End" rewrite that kicks off with a perfect intro), "Horse Latitudes" and "Moonlight Drive" as fan favorites. This remastered edition contains an alternate take and some goofy studio blather.
