Stir The Blood
Label: Island Def Jam
For their third full-length, New York's the Bravery deliver more of the same: 21st-century glam-wave that's equal parts the Rapture, Interpol and the Cure (of course). We're going to level with you here, folks: Stir the Blood isn't terribly original -- but it doesn't have to be. Glitzy dance-floor euphoria like "I Am Your Skin" and "Slow Poison" are designed for one thing and just one thing only: Friday night fun at the local bar where all the cool kids sport dyed black hair and severely tapered jeans.
