"Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" was taken as such an affront that Rod Stewart's previous decade of rock 'n' roll supremacy was forgotten. This fine 16-song collection tells the real story, starting with the brilliant "Maggie May" (Rod's most-played radio classic) and ending with the lovely "You're in My Heart." Most of the cuts here are backed by the Faces, the group that Rod fronted until 1974 (with the next year's Atlantic Crossing, Stewart started working with American rock and R&B sidemen). Yes, "Sexy" is here -- it ain't a bad song, and most of this material belongs in every collection.
