It's Only (feat. Zyra)

Odesza's debut album must be, in part, an exercise in wish fulfillment, because it shines in ways that the skies over the Seattle duo's hometown rarely do. Their pneumatic downtempo beats draw inspiration from artists like Dilla, Prefuse 73, Pretty Lights and Disclosure, with twinkling chimes and splintering drums lending vivid textures to super-saturated synths and colorful samples. But what really makes it all pop are the soaring vocals, often pitched up and run through kaleidoscopic effects, which give their songs the feel of floating on air.
