This collects music from four early Knopfler's scores -- the cult classic "Local Hero," the bleak Irish love story "Cal," the great family film "The Princess Bride" and the midnight art movie "Last Exit to Brooklyn." Plenty of Knopfler's gentle guitar work and mellow Celtic overtones, with lovely string orchestrations on "Last Exit."
