It's not a consistent album. Let's just get that out of the way right now. But sometimes it takes a messy experiment to come up with cool stuff, and if so, that's what Bahamut is. Discard the amateurish blues and the cartoonish bits if you like, but save the Tuvan/harmonica/Hawaiian/Eastern European songs that seem to be forging instantly archaic music that hails from everywhere and nowhere simultaneously.
