Sleepy psychedelic melodies and minimal rhythms set the tone for this 1999 debut album. The soft sentimental vocals of Wendy Stubbs, Helen White and Martin Barnard put this album into the darker side of the Downtempo category a la Portishead, and even reflect the deep moods of the late jazz singer Billie Holiday.
